4 Chouchou, Namig (Stand)
4 Chouchou, Pitte (Draw)
4 Chouchou, Richell (Heal)

Grade 1s:-

2 Chouchou, Piorina
2 Chouchou, Pierine

Strides and G Guardians:-
2 Chouchou, Lillinel
2 Chouchou, Palffy (G-Guardian)

Notes:-

  • The deck’s focus is on sending rear-guards to the bottom of the deck to gain effects, most of which are draw effects. This gives Chouchou a filter to the bottom style of play and bringing them up to the top of the deck by drawing. Any players who can play that style will actually excel at playing this deck. However, when it comes to modding the deck up, the “Chouchou” namesake has never been more important than before, because most of the costs require you send a rear-guard with “Chouchou” in its card name.
  • At the same time, thanks to units like Marl and Listella, this deck also has a focus on multi-attacks in the same battle phase, thanks to those units’ call skills. With the draw power that Chouchou has, it may be quite easy to find those cards for their use.
  • The one drawback the deck has is that it has weak resource recovery. The trial deck alone only has Clenes and Pitte to recover your Counterblasts and soul, and the former requires a Soulblast to do so. Take care to not burst off early for your multi-attacks and pace yourself. Time things right and you can catch your opponent off guard.
  • Overall, it is a nice trial deck to play, and it offers something vastly different than what other Bermuda Triangle do, and is a fresh experience. Like a breath of fresh air to use your Hamon techniques. SO get out there and show people the power of Chouchou’s Stand (not the trigger).

Notes:-

  • This deck isn’t in its final state, for me. I know that there is a lot more that I can do to mod and a lot more skills I need to memorise. Bermuda Triangle as always been a foreign clan to me, so I’m stepping into uncharted waters (PUN INTENDED) with this deck.
  • But essentially, the goal is to slowly build up to Limit Break 5 for Garnet’s skill. I chose Garnet over any of the other ace Grade 3s for PRI♥SM decks like Labrador, as this was designed to be a high-burst style deck, using Sunshine Vert’s skill alongside a Break Ride over Vert with Garnet’s Limit Break 5. This is more of a fun style of build, rather than something competitive, so changes made in future will reflect to that fun high-burst capabilities.
  • As I mentioned, I’m not a full on Bermuda Triangle player, so I have never collected Bermuda Triangle cards from the start. If you find some key card that should be in this deck is missing, that’s because I didn’t get it yet. I was lucky enough to find 3 Verts for this deck to be in its functional state. But I’m glad that I was able to get it, and I hope the person who has my kidney is feeling the joy too. (I’m kidding, I didn’t sell my kidney)
  • A couple of pitfalls I want to point out here is that you do need to stride for Sunshine Vert. And Sunshine Vert does need a Grade 3 to follow through with its entire skill. so Shandee is very important, as she will save your much needed Grade 3 for the ride.
  • The other pitfall is that once you have exhausted Sunshine Vert and your opponent is still standing, you pretty much have run out of gas. But if you are still standing after his turn, striding to Olyvia can save you, as long as you still have 3 different named rear-guards on the field.
  • All in all, it’s a fun deck and I’m glad that I built it. I’ve had a lot of fun with them. But don’t tell Dempster, okay! :3

Notes:-

  • Building a Raindear build in the past was a nightmare. There weren’t enough viable cards that could work with her and her skill was nothing more than a gimmick. With the new supports from G-CB03, though, it is now possible to build a Raindear deck with all her supports in play.
  • A Raindear build centers around doing stuff when you drive check a Grade 3, similar to the Dimensional Robos. As such, in order to fully utilize her potential, you will need to maximise the number of Grade 3s you have as much as possible. In my current deck, I run a total of 12 Grade 3s.
  • In addition to the 12 Grade 3s, there a total of 8 cards (4 Grade 1s, 4 Grade 2s) that will become a Grade 3 in the trigger zone – Dash Sisters, Rabel and Inspect Sisters, Robel. They have their own respective skills when you drive check a Grade 3 as well, sending themselves back to the deck in order to increase your hand size or refresh your damage zone, ready for a second round of Grade 3 checking.
  • Piping Hot, Suifa is a good independent attacker as she instantly becomes an 11000 Power attacker when you activate her skill from the back row. Make sure you check a Grade 3 and that the rear-guard circle in front of her is empty, so that you can get yourself an extra attack. Not only that, she also makes any Velvet Voice, Raindear in front of her an 11000 Power as well.
  • Peaceful Voice, Raindear is a huge step up from Velvet Voice, Raindear for a number of reasons. The first being that she has a base power of 11000 Power, letting her sustain better on the field without the need of throwing an extra card to guard. Secondly, her rear-guard skill activates at the end of the battle that you drive check a Raindear, moving her to the Vanguard circle if she’s in Stand. In other words, you get a pseudo-restanding Vanguard, with the chance of doing an additional drive check with her Vanguard skill if you drive check a Grade 3.
  • For this deck, it is perfectly fine for you to draw triggers, because you would want to keep the number of Grade 3s in your deck as much as possible. Use the triggers you drew to help you guard, and keep the grade 3 game high.
  • Even though this build is bound by the trial deck rule and thus only plays 2 G units, you’ll quickly realise that Raindear does not work with strides very well as most useful skills exist on the Vanguard circle. It would be wiser to use Peaceful Voice, Raindear’s Vanguard skill to gain an additional drive check, albeit with the cost of one card from your hand into the soul.
  • This deck ultimately tests your luck and how much you believe in your deck, as RNG is really high. There will be times you won’t be able to drive check any Grade 3s at all, but that is all just part and parcel of Vanguard, so don’t give up and keep on pushing through.

Notes:-

  • I’ve said this many times in the video and I’ll say it again here: This is easily one of the weirdest decks I’ve ever built in my life, and the main reason for that is because of Cheerfully Etoile, Olyvia herself. Her skill requires the top seven cards of your deck to be of different names before you can call 2 rear-guards from among them. If you play four copies of every card, it will be suicidal and a waste of her potential, so I played one copy of every single card I could find in here, with the most being two copies.
  • The magic of this deck is that even though all the cards are of different names, they all can synergise with each other, be it giving other rear-guards extra power, giving units the Harmony status and so on.
  • Sparkle in Her Heart, Spica may not be a good Vanguard to ride to (because ideally, you would want to ride to Olyvia right from the start), but her skills as a rear-guard are so good, it not only makes her heart sparkle, but it makes YOUR heart sparkle as well. Using Olyvia’s skill, you can call up to two rear-guards during your battle phase, giving herself an extra 4k and another 2k to each of the rear-guards called. Her second skill, however, requires herself to be in Harmony before she can bounce another rear-guard, ALSO with Harmony.
  • In the event where you cannot stride to Olyvia on your first stride due to not having GB2, depending on the situation, Frederica or Elprina would be good substitutes.
