- The Trial Deck still offers a lot of capabilities to play control, and is the primary method of playing it on its own. Keeping your opponent’s key cards locked up is a lot more easier to do, not just with the stride skill, but also through Bearing Messiah, who can guarantee a lock as long as there is units in either back row to do so.
- The key rear-guard is Metallia Messiah, who can stack up very high numbers when a lock or unlock happens, which should be plentiful if he is on the field at the start of your turn. While he cannot be locked himself for multi-attack playstyles, the threat of it on the field, knowing that your opponent has no way of directly dealing with it, like calling Denial Griffin, is very high and hard to deal with.
- This deck really can fix a lot of the issues that Messiah previously had if you were not playing control. Being able to utilise its GB2 and get the draws while unlocking everything for your skill to power up is an awesome feeling through Alter Ego Neo Messiah. So I am looking forward to boosting up my current Messiah deck with these cards in the Trial Deck and Clan Booster.
