Cardfight #88: Brian’s Spectral Duke Gold Paladin Deck Profile

Hey, Rear-guards!

Cardfight #88 sees us pit Brian’s Spectral Duke Gold Paladin deck against ZaCaptain”s PR♥ISM Bermuda Triangle deck. You can check the video above to see the bout, but if you’re interested in seeing the Spectral Duke deck profile, we have it in this post.

If you want to check out what’s in the PR♥ISM deck, click here.

Take note that this build is one that is used for this cardfight. Changes may have been already made at this point in time by the owner. You are welcome to learn from this deck profile, if you are looking to build one, but we highly encourage you to build yours to fit you.

As we announced in the previous deck profile, we will not be linking our cards back to the Wiki, and there may not be any notes on some of our future deck profiles, due to a multitude of reasons.

We hope you guys will let us know if these changes work for you or if you want it back to how we have always done them. We would like to hear your feedback on this. In the meantime, we also hope that you would continue reading and learning from all the deck profiles we have done and posted here on our blog.

Thanks, guys. 🙂

Notes:-

  • For my Spectral Duke Dragon deck, it focuses on the early rush since I’m using the chain of Vortimers’ on-ride skills, which lets me call the top 2 cards of my deck after retiring one rear-guard. Careful not to fall into the pitfall of not making sure you have a rear-guard to call on the first ride-up. Your early rush can get broken by carelessness.
  • Because of the call 2 capabilities, Unite abilities can activate very easily and if you are going second, when you can ride and stride on the same turn, the benefits can become immensely great. An example of who can benefit best from that is Holy Sword of Heavenly Law, Gurguit, whose Unite ability can activate without needing to call more units from your hand.
  • Should you miss with riding up to Spectral Duke Dragon, Steel Spear Liberator, Bleoberis can easily compensate for the miss in early rush with its Break Ride skill. Combining it with Spectral Duke Dragon’s Limit Break skill can let me attack twice with my 21000 Power Vanguard.

As always, if you have any queries, comments or suggestions, feel free to let me, Dempster or Leon know.
