Cardfight #64 sees us pit Dempster’s Tsukuyomi Oracle Think Tank deck against the new Title Trial Deck for Touken Ranbu, played by ZaCaptain. You can check the video above to see the bout, but if you’re interested in seeing the Tsukuyomi deck profile, we have it in this post.
If you want to check out what’s in the Title Trial deck, click here.
Take note that this build is one that is used for this cardfight. Changes may have been already made at this point in time by the owner. You are welcome to learn from this deck profile, if you are looking to build one, but we highly encourage you to build yours to fit you.
Strides and G Guardians:-
4 Moon Deity Who Governs Night, Tsukuyomi
- This is a very classic build with a few new toys. In other words, don’t expect to get into the tournaments with this like Misaki did. But in all seriousness, this is a very interesting build to play because it’s one of the few decks that require you to remember your card placements in order to fully utilize them in the next few turns.
- Previously, this deck has been quite an issue in terms of riding up because if you don’t have the cards you need in your hand, your only bet is the top 5 at the start of every turn, and even that requires lots of luck. However, with cards like Virtuoso Housekeeper, you are able to get another chance to add the needed card into your hand with a simple counterblast.
- Shrewd Concierge is a good 11000 Power attacker for Tsukuyomi with a decent on-hit threat. If his attack hits, you get to draw two cards and put a card from your hand into the soul, preparing your soul for Tagitsuhime’s glorious 12000 Power as well as filling up any of the Tsukuyomi cards should you miss a ride up.
- Tsukuyomi is a great ride up to build up enough souls for Ohirume and CEO Amaterasu. With them in Legion, you will have enough power to hit your opponent’s rear-guard in order to easily proc CEO Amaterasu’s Mega Blast. You will deck out rather fast, but that’s also why you have Ohirume to send cards back to the deck.
