Cardfight #56: Josephine’s Afterimage Nubatama Deck Profile

Hey, fighters!

Cardfight #56 sees us pit two of Josephine’s decks against each other. Her Afterimage Nubatama deck, as played by Dempster, against her Shadowstitch Murakumo deck, as played by ZaCaptain. Take note that this build is one that is used for this cardfight. Changes may have been already made at this point in time by the owner. You are welcome to learn from this deck profile, if you are looking to build one, but we highly encourage you to build yours to fit you.

  • There hasn’t been much changes between this deck and the last time you have seen it. But since there were no notes back then, I’ll provide them here.
  • With Afterimage, it only adds the ability to bounce units back to your hand from the field, but that only works when your opponent retrieves back units you forced him to put into the bind zone. Shiranui’s stride skill is a perfect way to ensure that your opponent does so, and with the added abilities from units such as Kamojigusa, which forces your opponent to send a bound unit to the drop zone, it makes the aim of the game with this Nubatama build one where you limit his choice of guards.
  • You will still have to deal with his full hand during his turns, but again, with Afterimage, as long as you have 6 or less cards in your hand, you can reinforce your hands with more guards. And if they still remain in your hand at that time, any on-call skills they would have can be reactivated once again.
