  • This deck is still a very strong deck but it sadly relies too heavily on your opponent having rear-guards on the field to fully function well. Not only that, but unless I stride, I have a very low hand size, and even with Gojo, Calamity Tower Dragon and draw triggers, my drawing power is quite lacking. And dropping cards for Vortex Dragnewt and even Dragonic Overlord the Great’s skills doesn’t help as much.
  • The deck is also very counterblast heavy. Using Sadegh helps to double my retiring power without an additional cost, but I still do need Protect Orb Dragon and Anna to recover some of my counterblasts.
  • Perdition Dragons does have its shortcomings but against the right timings, it can decimate their opponents and their field. It’s especially effective against rear-guard reliant decks, making the game a bit of a “who shuts down who last” kind of fight.
  • And having the option to change between beatdown with Dragonic Overlord the Great and retiring with Vortex Dragnewt allows this deck some flexibility to deal with whatever kind of opponent you are up against.
