For the next couple of days, we shall be following up on some of the requests for deck profiles made in the comments of our videos. In this post, we will bring you Dempster’s Magia Pale Moon deck, as seen in Cardfight #36, The Battle of the Prime Evils.
As we always point out, there are many different ways to build a Magia Pale Moon deck, and this is how Dempster does it for him. Feel free to get a few ideas from it, but ultimately, build yours as how you like to build it, one that fits for you.
With that said, let us pull the curtains back on the secrets of Dempster’s Magia deck.
Cat Knight in High Boots
1 Dreaming Bicorn
Some points to take note:
- Cat Knight in High Boots is a huge godsend because of its ability to chain call multiple units from the soul. With it, you can effectively combo it into any situation you need for the turn. With units like Crescent Moon Juggler and Flying Peryton, you can potentially amass a full field of units without calling any from your hand. If power is what you need, nothing says more than Darkside Princess and Fire Ring Wyvern.
- Speaking of Fire Ring Wyvern and Darkside Princess, Dreaming Bicorn is very useful when you have them on the field, among others like Darkside Sword Master. Playing the numbers game by having that extra power from him could potentially force your opponent to throw an extra card to guard.
- Hoop Master is a great alternative PG to Darkside Mirror Master in that she can call out units from the soul to either increase your guard or create units to retire (especially against Phantom Blaster “Diablo”). The deck is a little bit easy on your counterblasts, but if you feel it’s a little too heavy, nothing says you cannot go with Darkside Mirror Master instead.
- Prankster Girl of Mirrorland and Dreaming Pegasus adds an extra assurance that you can send the units you need from the deck to the soul, with Prankster Girl being more viable than the other. A good Pale Moon player knows how to use the units in the soul, favorable or not, to their advantage.
Now given the news of the increased size of the G zone come Fighter’s Collection 2016 and the G Guardians, we’ll only cover that the next time Harri comes by with his Magia show. For now, we shall make our curtain call.
